So how did I do it? Over these 26 weeks I have started doing a little bit more cooking, using my crock pot, and trying to plan out some meals in advance. Every day is a challenge, every meal is a challenge. I try to track everything I eat on my Weight Watchers app on my iPhone. I hate to write stuff down, but I don't mind keying it into the app as much.
One of the biggest changes for me has been my increase in exercise. I have been doing 9Round circuit training 4 times per week, and walking / running 6-10 miles per week. I have run a couple of 5k's over the summer, with another one planned for tomorrow morning.
I also have to give a big shout out to my good friend, Diahann Holder. She encouraged me to try 9Round, which I am now addicted to. She and I joined Weight Watchers together, and usually attend the meetings together weekly. We also have run all those 5k's together and have been each other's biggest cheerleaders. We text each other messages about what we ate, how our day is doing, and just keep tabs on each other. Thank you Diahann! I'll be at your house at 6 am tomorrow for the Susan G. Koman 5k run :)
